Why Most Audits Are a Waste of Time (And Ours Isn't)

You've probably gotten a free SEO audit before. Some tool spit out a PDF that said "missing meta descriptions on 47 pages" and "images lack alt text" and you thought cool, now what? How long does the audit take?+
5 to 7 business days from the time you give us access to your analytics (if applicable). The automated scans run in the first 24 hours. The rest is human analysis, scoring, and building the action plan. We don't rush this because a bad audit is worse than no audit.
Do we need to give you access to anything?+
Not necessarily. We can run the full technical and content audit with just your website URL. But if you grant us read only access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics, the competitive analysis and performance sections become much more valuable. We never need admin access to anything.
What happens after the audit?+
That's up to you. Some clients take the report and implement it internally. Some hire us for the fixes. Some use it to evaluate whether they want to start a full SEO or GEO engagement with us. There's zero pressure either way. The audit is a standalone product that delivers value regardless of what you do next.
How is this different from free SEO audit tools?+
Free tools check surface level stuff: broken links, missing meta descriptions, maybe page speed. Our audit goes 30 layers deep across 5 phases and includes AI citability, competitive analysis, mobile visual testing, and a human built action plan. The automated part uses 22 custom scripts we've developed from years of doing this. The analysis is done by actual people, not a generic PDF generator.
Can we audit a competitor's site instead?+
Yes. Some clients actually start by auditing a competitor to understand their strengths and weaknesses. We can run the full technical and content audit on any public website. The only caveat is that the analytics based insights won't be available for a site you don't own. But the technical, content, and AI citability phases work just fine externally.
Is the audit a one time thing or recurring?+
Most clients do an initial comprehensive audit and then a lighter follow up every quarter to track progress and catch new issues. The web changes constantly. What scores green today might turn yellow in six months if a competitor outpaces you or if you make site changes that accidentally break something. We offer both one time and recurring audit packages.
